ABOUT ME:
Personal: My name is Julio Maldonado. I was born on August 17, 1973. I am originally from Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. I am fully bilingual in English and Spanish. I obtained a bachelor’s degree from Austin Peay State University in Political Science and History. I enjoy watching television, martial arts, and reading Military: I joined the United States Army Reserve in 1991 soon after I graduated High School. I served in the United States Army Reserve as a Mortuary Specialist until 1999 when I was Honorable Discharged. I joined the United Stated Army in 2002 where I had the chance to learn several specialties to include Administration Specialist (42A), Motor Transport Operator (88M), and Movement Specialist (88N). I have the pleasure to serve in multiple locations around the world to include tours in Korea (1), Iraq (3), and Afghanistan (1). I separated from active duty on 2011 with a Honorable Discharge. Sheriff’s Office: I joined the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in 2011 after I left the United States Army. I started as a Jail Deputy working in booking operations. On 2012, I moved to the Patrol Division and attended the police academy.. Other than the regular patrol duties, I became a member of the Crime Scene Team. On 2016, I proudly became a School Resource Officer at Kenwood High School. |
